Abstract Logo
Abstract Logo 40x40Relax with this simple tutorial and learn some fresh effects. It is really abstract!

In this tutorial, we will create an abstract effect like this:

 Abstract Logo 10

Step 1: Create a new 800x800 pixels document with these settings:

Abstract Logo 1a

Step 2: Set your foreground to #00fd06 and background to #0c7d0e

Abstract Logo 1b

Use the Gradient Tool(G) with  Diamond Gradient option Abstract Logo 1 to draw a line like this:

Step 3: Go to Filter > Distort > Wave and select Square option

 Abstract Logo 2

Step 4: Go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates and select Rectangular to Polar option

Abstract Logo 3

Step 5: Next, go to Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges and use the default settings

Abstract Logo 4

 After this step, we get:

 Abstract Logo 5

Step 6: No, go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates and select Rectangular to Polar again

Abstract Logo 6

Our image will look like this:

 Abstract Logo 7

Step 7: Press Ctrl-J to duplicate our Background (or right click on the Background layer and select Duplicate Layer)

Abstract Logo 8

Step 8: Go to Edit >Transform > Flip Horizontal to flip our "Background copy" layer horizontally. Now use the Rectangular Marquee Tool(M) and carefully select our left half image

Abstract Logo 9

Now press Delete to clear the selection and press Ctrl-E to merge these two layers. Here is the final result:

* This is a "just for fun" tutorial to help you relax, my friend. In fact, the result is really impressive and I hope you won't comment "What the hell is this?" Tongue out
