Glowing Radial Beams

Glowing Ridial Beams 80x80Create a wonderful background with just a few easy steps. Learn it now!

 

Step 1:  Create a new 800x800 px document. Press D, X to reset your foreground and background color. Go to Filter > Render > Clouds

 Step 2: Go to Filter > Artistic > Plastic Wrap and use these settings : HighLight Strength 20, Detail 12, Smothness 9. We will get this result:

 Step 3: Go to Filter > Stylize > Find Edges. Press Ctrl - I to invert our image

 Step 4: Go to Filter > Blur > Ridial Blur and use these setting: Amount 100, Blur Method Zoom, Quality Good. Next press Ctrl - F to repeat that effect

 Step 5: Go to Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges and choose appropriate settings to make your edges bright enough

 Step 6: Here is the final step. Press Ctrl-U to open up the "Hue/Saturation" dialog box. Make sure to select  the "Colorize" checkbox and use these settings: Hue 180, Saturation 100 (maxium) and Lightness 0.

Finished! And this is the result:

Hue should be 0, not 180. 180 gives you a light blue, but still nice =)
