Create an impressive magma text effect with just a few simple steps. Let's see how to do it!
Step 1: Create a new 600x600 pixels document. Use the Gradient Tool(G) with "Orange Yellow Orange" to make your background, like this:
Step 2: Now use the Horizontal Type Tool(T), change the text color to white and type anything you like 
Step 3: Press D to reset your foreground to black. Go to Filter > Texture > Stained Glass and use the default settings (Cell Size 10, Border Thickness 4, Light Intensity 3) 
Step 4: Press Ctrl-I to invert your text layer. Go to Filter > Artistic > Plastic Warp. Just use the default settings (Highlight Strength 20, Detail 13, Smoothness 12). Press Ctrl-F to repeat this effect. After this step, we get: 
Step 5: Now press Ctrl-U to open the Hue/Saturation dialog box. Make sure to tick on the "Colorize" option and use these settings:
and we get:  Step 6: We will make our image more impressive by double click on the "Rock" layer to open the "Layer Style" dialog box. Use these settings: + Drop Shadow: 
+ Bevel and Emboss: 
+ Satin: 
+ Stroke:
